The emphasis is focused on encouraging students to ask questions throughout their learning experience.

NRA-Certified Pistol Instructor
Chief Range Safety Officer & Self-Defense Consultant
Glen is an NRA-Certified Pistol Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and a self-defense consultant specializing in various defensive tactical systems. He brings decades of operational experience to the team. As an active firefighter, first responder, and former NYC paramedic, he understands why acute stress management is vital during reactive crisis incidents.
Glen's training platform is grounded in the use of defensive pistol tactics and practical shooting. He emphasizes situational awareness, personal protection, and conflict de-escalation — operating on the principle that drawing a firearm is a last resort. Whether you are facing single or multiple threats, Glen will help you build the confidence needed to perform under pressure.
He believes that confidence is not innate; it is developed through time, patience, and repetition. By creating a low-stress learning environment, Glen provides new shooters with the foundation necessary for survival and critical incident management. As a trainer, Glen builds high levels of student confidence both behind the pistol, and while the pistol is still holstered.
NRA Certified Training Counselor
Chief Range Safety Officer & Instructor
Gary is Mia's Training Counselor and is one of the best out there! Gary is an NRA Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and NRA Certified Instructor in Rifle, Pistol, and Metallic Cartridge Reloading.
Gary entered the shooting sports at age eight — a self-described Ralphie from A Christmas Story, who literally sold greeting cards door to door until he had earned enough to buy his first BB gun. The rest, as they say, is history. He has coached junior shooters for decades, and three of the juniors he coached went on to qualify for the Olympics. Gary is a High Power Competitor as well as a 3 & 4 Position Smallbore Competitor, and continues to shoot pistol recreationally and occasionally compete.
In the Army, Gary qualified Expert with the M-14 and M-16. As a Sergeant in Military Intelligence, he also qualified with a .38 snub nose revolver — his TO&E assigned weapon. While stationed in Germany, he founded and competed on an in-service rifle team for the 430th Military Intelligence Group. After his service, he became a regular competitor in Service Rifle National Match Course competitions. During the 1980s he coached Junior Rifle Programs on Long Island, sending his junior shooters on to NCAA and Olympic competitions, and he and his club sponsored and ran Junior Olympic Rifle Championships locally for many high school rifle teams on Long Island.
Gary is a very active Second Amendment activist — a Benefactor Member of the NRA and NRA-ILA, and a member of the NYSRPA, S.C.O.P.E., The Second Amendment Foundation, and other 2A support organizations. He is also one of eleven “Frontlines Activist Leaders” (FALs) in New York State.
